Finals
Who would have thought it? In the final of the Dancing With Stars competition, Kelly Monaco and Alec Mazo would Freestyle Dance their way into first place. Charlotte Jorgensen and John O'Hurley have been my favorite sine week one and I really thought they were the best in the final, but the Freestyle Dance was more than they could handle.
I agree with everyone the Kelly has improved the most over the course of the competition, but in my opinion John has improved greatly too. I guess it just goes to show that if you work hard and try your best anything can happen.
Congratulations Kelly and Alec you did a great job!
Great Freestyle Dance moves on DVD
The dance teams of Charlotte Jorgensen and John O'Hurley will face off against Kelly Monaco and Alec Mazo in what will be a great show. Kelly has really improved over the competition, but will she have what it takes to knock off Charlotte and John? In the opinion of this dancer the competition has been tough, but Charlotte and John are by far the best of the bunch. Ashly DelGrosso and Joey McIntyre danced well in the Semi final, but could not hold on to make it to the finals. I think it is a shame, because Ashly and Joey would have given Charlotte and John a run for the money. I guess the votes from the viewers just weren't there for Ashly and Joey. Tonight the dancers had to dance very challenging dances in the Foxtrot and Paso Doble and I thought they all did a first class job of preparing. Be sure to check out what will be a great finale to what has been a EXCELLENT show.
Semi Finals.
Well we are down to the final 3. Charlotte Jorgensen, John O'Hurley, Ashly DelGrosso, Joey McIntyre, Kelly Monaco and Alec Mazo will live to dance another day. This week Rachel Hunter and Jonathan Roberts were cut from the competition. This was by far one of the weakest performances by Rachel and Jonathan and it couldn't have come at a worst time. With Kelly Monaco stepping her game up several notches and the consistent performances by Joey McIntyre and John O'Hurley, there wasn't much room for error this week. This show is great for want to be dancers. You are getting to see exactly how easy, yet challenging it is to learn to dance.
It is the opinion of this dancer that the odds on favorite should be Charlotte Jorgensen and John O'Hurley. This team has a great chemistry and we are getting to see why Charlotte is know as one of the best teachers in the world. John is no slouch either. He is very athletic and must be at least 3/4 Ham. his floor presence is super and his timing is super. Joey is my pick to come in second. He has many of the same qualities as John, but they seem to come more naturally for John.
