Dancing With The Stars by Anderson Moore

Week 4 of Dancing With The Stars was by far the lest favorite for me. The music for the Paso was terrible. I do not know who chooses the music that the dancers dance to, but they sure needed some help this week. The dancing was not the greatest this week, foxtrot and Paso Doble are not the easiest dances to do. Here are my thoughts on each performance.

George Hamilton and Edyta Sliwinska were first this week and overall they did a pretty good job. The dancing was riddled with gimmicks in an attempt to take attention away from the lack of dancing. It was a great performance by George and Edyta, but in comparison to the other dancers it was only better than Master P.

Master P was again the worst of the dancers and in my opinion went backwards a bit. Last week in the Jive he looked like he was trying and even made a few dance moves. This week P seemed to go back to not caring if he does the dance with any sort of competence. Again he was barded by the judges and given scores that were very low. Will this be the last week for Master P?

Jerry Rice and Anna Trebunskaya danced a very nice Foxtrot that was a great balance of dancing in open position and closed position. this made a good impression on me. It is a lot more difficult to dance in closed position than open position. Jerry also had a pretty good feel for the foot action and timing. I think this may have been his best dance yet.

Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke danced a very nice routine, but it was hard to follow with such a different Paso Doble. Drew is by far one of the best dancers on the show and this is shown by the amount of time he spends dancing away from his professional. He is not depending on his partner to keep him in step or on beat in the song. Not his best week, but not to many had top performances in week 4.

Lisa Rinna and Louis van Amstel also did a fine job with the Paso Doble, but it got lost in the music. Lisa has a nice line and she is very animated which helps to carry off any performance, but she doesn't come off as natural as some of the other dancers. Maybe it is her lips. Not a bad performance, but she still has some work to do to keep up with Tia and Stacy.

Stacy Keibler and Tony Dovolani did a nice routine and Stacey has a very nice top line for the foxtrot, but she has very little leg usage to keep her moving smoothly. Her footwork is a bit less than desirable too, but she always gives a great performance.

Tia Carrere and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were my favorites in week 4. Max is great at keeping the material inside of Tia's comfort zone yet still putting together a dance that is nice to watch. Tia has a natural way of being so graceful and demands that you watch her when she is on the floor. I thought her foxtrot was very smooth and she danced it very well.

Who will go home in week 4? As we have seen each week on Dancing With The Stars the judges scores have been over ridden by the votes of the viewers. This is a week where I feel that the only dancers safe from a trip back home are Stacy, Tia, Lisa and Drew. Jerry, George and P are all at the mercy of the voters. It is my opinion that P should go, but that has been my opinion since week 1. We will have to tune in to see who goes home, but I will not be surprised if George gets the boot and P lives for another week.
