Week 2 of Dancing With The Stars is in the books and overall I thought the dancing was pretty good. Quickstep and Rumba are 2 of the more demanding dances and all the stars did a pretty good job inspite of the difficulty. Even Master P seemed to have put forth a little more effort than last week, but was in my opinion the worst of the night. This is disappointing since you would hope that he would put his best foot forward, pardon the pun.

Lisa Rinna and Tatum O' Neal were both a bit disappointing this week too. I expected to see more from the both of them after the performances they had last week. Both ladies had trouble with their feet and are not the best when it comes to executing spins. I would have to give the edge to Lisa, as she is far more flexible and had a much better command of the feeling for the Rumba.

Tia Carrere put on a great performance this week. She is such a natural when it comes to the exotic look that goes with the Rumba and she has a presence on the floor to make you want to watch her. Max Chmerkovskiy, did the best job so far of keeping the material under control and not putting Tia in a place to look bad.

The Quickstep by George Hamilton was very entertaining, however there was not a lot of Quickstep in the routine. I think there was enough there to get George into week 3, but it will depend on the viewer votes.

Drew Lachey and Jerry Rice did very good jobs with their Quicksteps too. I thought Jerry had a better grasp on the dance, but Drew had a bit more energy. The Quickstep is a tough dance when you use the basic steps that the dance is associated with. It is much easier to do a bunch of hopping and skipping than it is to dance some of the steps that Jerry danced, but Drew had a bit more life than Jerry.

By far the best performances of the night came from Stacy Keibler and Giselle Fernandez. Both ladies had a strong and definite hip motion, but the biggest difference was that they looked like they were enjoying the dance. The performance quality was great. Stacy had a bit better leg and foot actions so I would have to give the top spot to her.

Now comes the guessing game. Will Master P get enough votes from the viewers to be dancing in week 3?

If I had to say, I would pick Master P  and George Hamilton to be the top candidates to be knocked off this week, but it all will come down to the viewers votes.

We will just have to wait and tune in to ABC on Friday night for the results.

It is still way to early to tell who will win the whole thing, but I would expect to see a strong competition over the next 7 weeks.
