New Courses Are on Offer NOW!
Learning to teach partnership dance
is easier than you might think.
It’s also very rewarding to know
that you can help other people
experience the joy of dance by
taking lessons from a certified
expert such as yourself. Not to
mention that dancing is just plain
FUN!
In
the training programs offered by
dance expert Phillip Stephens,
you quickly learn how to perform and
teach the sassy Samba, the elegant
Waltz, the romantic Rumba, the
tantalizing Tango or flirtatious and
energetic dances like Swing, Jive
and Cha Cha. Phillip Stephens has
many years experience as a dance
educator, and has developed a system
that allows you to master all the
moves and technical aspects of
dancing in a surprisingly short time
period. This training will allow
you to develop the confidence needed
to teach people a “First Dance” for
their wedding, teach dancing for
social purposes, or even be ready to
put together exhibition or
competition routines.
Phillip Stephens is one of the most
highly certified partnership dance
educators in the world. He
holds Fellowship degrees in dance
attained through the world’s leading
dance examinations board – the
Imperial Society of Teachers of
Dancing (ISTD). Phillip also
holds Fellowship degrees with the
International Dance Teachers
Association (IDTA) and with
the North American Dance Teachers
Association (NADTA). Mr.
Stephens is a Championship
Adjudicator and is licensed with
the International Dance Organization
(IDO) and with the World
Dance Council (WDC). Also
holding a post as an Examiner for
the ISTD, Phillip Stephens knows
all the ins and outs of studying to
become a well-qualified partnership
dance educator in several styles of
dance.
In each course, participants learn
all the syllabus figures associated
with that course level. The figures
will be put together in a routine
that can be used for teaching
purposes, for competitions or for
exhibition dancingin that style. In
addition, you’ll learn alternate
timings and how to lead/follow each
figure. You also get valuable and
“time-tested” tips from Phillip on
how to teach the figures and the
best ways of presenting the material
during a degree certification
examination.
Most courses involve 8 classes per
month provided in 2-hour sessions.
Tuition for those courses is $120
per month, and the course will run
for 3 to 5 months. Other training
will be done through intensive
“weekend warrior” sessions that will
run the full course in just 6
weekends during 2 consecutive months
for a fee of $450 per course.
Tuition does not include study
materials, dance shoes, exam costs
or any item outside of the actual
training.
