ABC Dancing With The Stars 2007 Season 5

Are you ready for the first elimination on Dancing With The Stars?

In my opinion ABC has assembled the best and most interesting cast of any season and the new pros are a super too. I think it will be pretty easy to pick who will be the first to go and I think it will be one of the ladies. The dancing in the first round was by far the best of any first round of any season. Everyone seemed to look so at ease on the floor and they all were very animated on the floor. This is by far one of the biggest points a great dancer, or performer of any type has to have to be really great.

For me the worst dancing came from JOSIE MARAN. She was the perfect example of a fancy car with a bad engine. She looked like she could be great, but there was not enough dancing going on. People do not realize how physical dancing really is. A slow dance like the Foxtrot is far more demanding that a fast dance like the Cha Cha. Josie did not have the core strength to pull it off. The next worst dancer was CAMERON MATHISON. He too has all the looks and he has the athleticism to boot, but he may not have the flexibility to make it to the final. FLOYD MAYWEATHER had a nice look, but his posture was off. It will be interesting to see how much his dancing changes along the way. WAYNE NEWTON did a great job and he has one of the best teachers on the show, but I think his age and stamina will be his down fall. The rest of the dancers were very good and I think it will be easier to separate them as we get deeper into the season. This season certainly looks like the season that could bring a woman back to the top. The Dancing With The Stars trophy has been won by Men out right since the first season. The first season ALEC MAZO and Kelly Monaco won. John O'Hurley and Charlotte Jorgensen won the dance off and it has been dominated by the men since. It is very difficult to separate the ladies at this point, they all are about even. It is going to take a little time to see everyone of them do Latin Dance and a Ballroom dance to pick a better dancer. I think SABRINA BRYAN and JANE SEYMOUR are at the top for the ladies.For the men I think that MARK CUBAN and HELIO CASTRONEVES have the edge over the other men. They all still have a lot of learning to do and it is a shame that someone has to go home the first week, but that is the way of the dance floor. I think JOSIE MARAN and ALEC MAZO will be the first to go.
